Gate 21 has collaborated with the Nordic Region’s largest Smart City conference and now invites all those who are interested on a study trip to Nordic Edge 2018, hosted in Stavanger.

There will be a strong Danish presence at the Nordic Edge Conference & Expo in September. Gate 21 is organizing a Danish study tour, which will provide Danish participants with insight into innovative urban solutions and experiences from around the world while strengthening cross-border networks.

Sustainable cities from several perspectives

At the conference, leading Nordic players will dive into the topic of sustainable digital communities from a number of angles. Societal and technological perspectives will be explored through presentations and debates.

Nordic Edge also offers a parallel exhibition. Here innovative initiatives and solutions are presented on a wide range of subject areas, ranging from education to mobility to health.

You can find the program here.

International inspiration and Nordic network

When it comes to the work of creating smart, green communities, there is much inspiration and many experiences to be found across borders – both municipal and national borders. The Nordic Edge study trip will make this possible.

Participants will stay in the same hotel and get full access to the three-day conference including the main lectures, parallel sessions and exhibitions. In addition, a Danish networking dinner, a Nordic networking event and a Norwegian safari will be organized, which will allow the Danish delegation to experience some of Greater Stavanger’s innovative city solutions.

Everyone is welcome to attend the study tour. Additionally, Gate 21 is offering a special price for partners and members.
