Network & Knowledge
Gate 21 has a growing group of partners represented by those companies, knowledge institutions and municipalities in the front line where tomorrow’s green solutions must be found. With this strong partner group, Gate 21 works continuously to build both broad and specialized networks based on the partner group’s needs. Common to all the networks are the goals of a level of professionalism, innovative processes, access to the latest knowledge and the opportunity to spar with relevant stakeholders.
In addition to the strong network between partners who participate in projects and Living Labs, Gate 21 has a number of forums and events for partners and members:
Annual meeting of mayors in Gate 21’s partner and member municipalities. Each year two mayors are elected to Gate 21’s board.
An annual event where Gate 21’s partners define the partnership’s strategic development.
Each year Gate 21’s partners are invited to the General Assembly, where board members are appointed from within the partner group.
Technical Director Forum
Twice a year, the technical directors from Gate 21’s partner and member municipalities meet for a professional exchange on common challenges and opportunities.
Project Development Workshops
Gate 21 invites regular partners and members for project development workshops within the partner group’s five focus areas.
Conferences and Knowledge Sharing
Gate 21 often arranges conferences, seminars, workshops and other events where partners can be inspired by new knowledge.
The People’s Meeting
Gate 21 participates with its partners and members of professional relevance debates in the Folkemødet (People’s Meeting) on Bornholm.
The events are advertised through newsletters.
