The first energy review has been completed – four new ones are on their way

by | Aug 3, 2018

The Sustainable Bottom Line Bornholm project is now well underway, and an increasing number of companies are signing up to participate in the project. Skovly Hotel is the first to get cracking on the more concrete activities.

Hotel Skovly received their first energy report in June, which marks the starting point for profound energy savings for their highly frequented outdoor destination. For example, they want to extend their season by, among other things, energizing their heating system. As part of the project, the hotel has more than 70,000 DKK available for consultancy. In collaboration with the Sustainable Bottom Line Bornholm, they must now make a plan for the funds so that they can seek the independent guidance they need.

Before the summer vacation, Sustainable Bottom Line Bornholm expects that five companies will have each completed a review of their energy consumption. Reviewing the company’s energy consumption makes it possible to identify where a green effort can make sense, both for their bottom line and for the climate.
